Initially, there was a possibility that steel sheet pile (Type III) & H-beam (400mm) were present on the pipeline, & it was also a river crossing pipe jacking work.
It was difficult to remove the obstacles from the ground, & the construction was in the very soft soil, so careful consideration was required. All jacking pipes are composite pipes that can be tied together, & the TBM is equipped with two meandering correction jack devices. As a result of the construction, there was no steel sheet pile (Type III) & H-beam (400mm), & about 250 mm of wooden piles were cut at two places.
